    Ahh Whistler’s Mother. I feel like she is quietly sitting by the window, waiting for her son to come home. There is a certain sense of sadness and thoughtfulness in her face but also a quiet sort of resignation to the world. Many older people simply stop fighting and come to terms with the universe. That is the look that I see in her face. So here she sits, waiting and reflecting…
